Eric Diamond is a seasoned and talented musician with a passion for country and western swing music. From a young age, Eric showcased his exceptional vocal abilities and landed his first professional singing job at just 15 years old.
Throughout his career, Eric has achieved remarkable milestones. He reached the state finals of the Jimmy Dean Country Showdown twice in his mid-teens and honed his skills by playing in local country bands in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Durango, Colorado.
At the age of 21, Eric joined his first road band, "Cowtown Swing," and embarked on a journey that led him to Nashville. There, he secured a songwriting job, showcasing his versatility and creativity. For three years, Eric served as the frontman for the renowned Midnight Rose band, under the guidance of band leader David Blanchard. Additionally, he worked as a floor manager and in-house entertainer at Horny's Dance Hall and saloon in Durango, Colorado. During this time, Eric had the privilege of forming his own band, "Eric Diamond and the Rocky Mountains Playboys," further establishing his unique musical style and stage presence.
Eric's dedication and talent allowed him to make a mark in the industry. Over the past 14 years, he has captivated audiences at the Bob Wills Festival in Turkey, Texas, and performed at various prestigious venues across the country. Notably, his album ranked in the top five for Western Swing album of the year by the Academy of Western Artists, showcasing his exceptional musical prowess. Eric has also been honored with the Western Swing male vocalist of the year award, solidifying his place as a respected artist in his genre.
Currently, Eric has released his latest album, "Eric Diamond All Of Me," which has garnered significant attention. The album's World Premier radio release on KSSL Radio in Lubbock, Texas, was aired in multiple countries, further expanding his global reach. Eric continues captivating audiences with his irresistible charm and infectious music. Eric Diamond's unwavering dedication to his craft, combined with his captivating performances and undeniable talent, make him a standout musician in the country and western swing scene.
